YRT offers transit to vaccination appointments through Mobility On-Request!

York Region Transit (YRT)’s Mobility On-Request ride-sharing service can take you to your vaccination appointment!

YRT has recently expanded its service in East Gwillimbury to bring residents of all ages to their vaccine appointments. Each rider will pay a fare. Residents under the age of 18 requiring a vaccine can travel with an adult to the vaccination clinic or pharmacy.

To book a trip, call 1-866-744-1119 on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For weekend appointments, please call on the Friday...

FFWOB Donation to Support Communities in South Africa

ECSS in partnership with FFWOB is donating a surplus of bunker gear to support communities in South Africa.

Deputy Derstroff, Mayor Hackson, Council members, and FFWOB representative, Alex Dorevich, work together to provide essential equipment to communities in South Africa, wherein they are still deemed within regulation.

This sustainable approach helps to extend the life of essential fire equipment, and ultimately aid in keeping communities safe around the world.

East Gwillimbury Council Unanimously Approves 1% Budget Increase on Town Portion of Property Taxes for 2022
