 Project Background

The Yonge Street Revitalization is a collaborative project between the Town and York Region that seeks to revitalize downtown Holland Landing along the Yonge Street corridor through streetscape and infrastructure improvements. The core project area focuses on Yonge Street from Mount Albert Road to Doane Road.

The project seeks to advance a 1.7 km multi-use path within the downtown core of Holland Landing establishing a key active transportation linkage and extension of the Region’s Lake to Lake Trail network through the community of Holland Landing. • Utility relocation/extension within the corridor by Enbridge Gas

    • Road resurfacing within the project limits
    • Intersection improvements including updates for AODA requirements
    • Localized sewer and drainage improvements as required
