The Health and Active Living Plaza (160 Jim Mortson Drive) is a destination point in our community, offering recreational, health and arts and culture programs and community services through partnerships with local community groups. It offers expanded and enhanced program and service delivery through one door, under one roof, at one location.

EG's largest outdoor park opens this summer.

The HALP Park is set to become one of EG's most dynamic outdoor spaces. This new, vibrant eight-acre park will connect recreation, wellness, community enjoyment, nature, and learning all in one location.

Surrounding the newly built HALP facility, the park space has been thoughtfully designed to bring people of all ages and abilities together through active play, outdoor experiences, community events, and year-round gathering spaces.
Whether you're looking for adventure, fitness, family fun, outdoor learning, or a place to relax, the HALP Park has something for everyone.

Spaces include: Reading Garden Enjoy a peaceful outdoor reading space connected directly to the East Gwillimbury Public Library's Queensville Branch. Demonstration Food Community Garden Discover vegetables, herbs, native species, and traditional Indigenous medicines while learning about sustainable gardening and food production.
