Farmers Market

Every Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. until October 10th

Come connect with local farmers, indulge in a sweet treat, browse unique artisan vendors, and enjoy the family fun atmosphere while supporting local businesses! The EG Farmers market brings our community together each week as a place to eat, have a beer, shop local, and be entertained with live music and kids activities.

• $375 - Regular Pricing - Full Season (10'x10' space)
• $575 - Regular Pricing - Full Season (10'x20' space)
• $165 - 4x Weeks Rate
• $55 - One Day Rate
• $100 - Electrical Outlet (full season - outlets will be approved on a first come, first serve basis)

*Refunds are not available, however in most cases a date change can be accommodated. 

Community businesses and Not-for-profit Groups are welcome to join! More information can be found on the application.

Our Blooming Business application is for new entrepreneurs and businesses looking to find a kickstart to help their business bloom. We offer NEW vendors joining our market a 50% discount rate, as a one day trial ($27.50 One Day). 

Before a applying, please read the Rules and Regulations carefully as changes have been made for the upcoming season. This contains all the information you need to know as a participant in the market.

EG Farmers Market Weekly Events

Thursday, July 25 - KIDSFEST

Join us for a fun-filled KIDSFEST, happening from 2 to 7 p.m. at the EG Farmers Market!

We can't wait to welcome so many new businesses, including some special youth vendors. 

Lots of fun activities for kids:

• Bouncy castle, inflatable basketball dunk & soccer shootout games 🏀⚽️
• Little kids games
• Sweet treats: including an ice cream truck (from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.) and our market vendors providing delicious treats! 🍦🍭🍫🍪
• Smoked BBQ brisket and pulled pork sandwiches available, plus food trucks to enjoy dinner and refreshing cold drinks.
• Arts and crafts table
• Stage dance party from 2 to 4 p.m.
• Button Making and story time with the EG Library. 

Plus, an energetic performance by our favourite friend children's performer, Russ Clayton from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Bring a reusable bottle to fill up at the York Region Tap'd In Mobile Water Trailer. ♻️💦

Check out a real bee hive and learn about bees at the R&D Bees and Trees booth! 🐝🍯

Browse the EG Library booth  hosting their pop up book sale, with proceeds going towards the Makerspace makeover. There are no fixed prices on books, just pay by donation! Cash and debit accepted.

Lil Farmer Club

NEW this year, the Lil Farmer Club for children attending the East Gwillimbury Farmers Market to enjoy fun activities and games! Check out weekly kids activities including:

• Scavenger hunts
• Colouring and activity sheets
• Games area
• Learning about animals and farming
• Storybook time
• And more
