The text says Help shape EG's 2026 Business Plan and Budget

East Gwillimbury (EG) is inviting residents and businesses to share their feedback through the 2026 Business Plan and Budget survey, now available online or in person at EG Customer Service locations.

This annual survey is an important opportunity for the community to weigh in on Town services, priorities, and future investments. Input collected through the survey will help guide the development of the 2026 Business Plan and Budget, ensuring it reflects the needs and values of residents.

It is important to note that in 2025, for every dollar of property taxes paid, 39% is used to support Town programs, services, and projects, with the remaining allocated to the Region of York (42%) and local school boards (19%). The Town uses its portion of property taxes to provide waste collection, road/sidewalk maintenance, fire and emergency services, parks and trails, recreation spaces, and other services to the community. Residents are encouraged to complete the survey, which assists Council with future planning and budget decisions related to Town program and service delivery.

The Business Plan and Budget are guided by the Town's Strategic Plan, which ensures we continue to provide programs and services that will support a sustainable future where residents and businesses can thrive. View the Strategic Plan at eastgwillimbury.ca/StrategicPlan.
