East Gwillimbury’s Emergency and Community Safety Services team donated over 80 pieces of used equipment to Firefighters Without Borders, a non-profit organization based in Ontario that provides training and equipment donations to communities around the world. An overnight road closure is now required to construct a concrete median island on Leslie Street, north of Green Lane. The closure will begin at 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, until 4 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023. Road signs will be installed in advance of the road closure.
