Complete Communities Secondary Plan Public Information Session
East Gwillimbury is undergoing a Complete Street Secondary Plan to set the stage for future development of the whitebelt lands within the Town’s Urban Boundary. The final plan will set out the overall vision and policies related to the area it covers. The Secondary Plan will address items such as height and density of development, what roads and trails are needed, where schools and parks will go, and more.

The first public information session about the Plan will be held on March 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Temperance Hall, located at 18974 Leslie Street. Learn more at www.eastgwillimbury.ca/completecommunities.

Donate to support Sharon Temple's Future!
The Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum is collecting donations to complete a garden, featuring the four sacred medicines and seven stones representing the Seven Grandfather Teaching, that will surround the Hope and Truth Reflection sculpture. The sculpture was unveiled last year and was designed by Anishinaabe artist Donald Chrétien and sculpted by Shane Clodd in consultation with the Chippewas of Georgina Island. Donations will help finish the project, honour the past, and celebrate a more harmonious and equitable future. For details, please visit www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/12542
