New Camp

A Journalist at CTV News-STEAM Learning Experience

Did you know that only 4% of film directors are female?

A day in the life of CTV journalist is brought to you in partnership Bell Media. The workshop is designed to highlight the challenges that women have in the Media sector and create a safe environment for participants to engage in STEAM learning.

The participants will have hands on experience on pitching a story, using a camera, shot framing, lighting and audio operations as well as editing to get their story together for the showcase. They will receive a certificate from Bell upon the completion of the program.

This is a Bell sponsored camp and 100% of the fees will go towards equipment (camera, lights, chromebooks/laptops, etc.) and editing software for future programs in the Town of East Gwillimbury.
