The East Gwillimbury Sports Complex (EGSC) is located in Sharon, at 1914B Mount Albert Road, between Woodbine Road and Leslie Street. This facility offers two ice pads that operate during the winter months and one during the summer months. If you would like to book ice, please visit our Arena Ice Rentals page for more information.

During summer months, one of the ice pads is removed and the arena floor is used for camps, programs and practices and is available to rent at an hourly rate. We also offer a meeting room and a large hall that includes a kitchen. You can find more details below.

EG Sports Complex Facility Improvements  
Beginning July 13, weather permitting, exterior improvements will take place at the EGSC. During this time, temporary parking lot closures, entrance changes, and an EV charging station closure (for approximately two weeks) will be in effect. To enter the facility, please use the east entrance or the north Canada Hall entrance. Summer camps and programs will continue as scheduled. Thank you for your patience as we improve this space.

EG’s Customer Service team is available at the Sports Complex, by phone at 905-478-3826 or by email at leisure1@eastgwillimbury.ca, to assist residents and visitors with Town programs and services. 

Visit the Customer Service desk at the Sports Complex during the following hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Hours of operation vary by season and on Statutory holidays.
