The Town of East Gwillimbury is now accepting applications for various committees, working groups and boards. Visit our Careers page to learn more and apply.
The Town of EG created a volunteer program to provide volunteer opportunities for all ages. Get active in giving back, build relationships and find connection within the community. We have opportunities for everyone, including students seeking volunteer hours, adults, seniors, and families.
To get involved in our Engaged EG team, a training date must be attended to learn about East Gwillimbury events and review volunteer roles and responsibilities.
Contact us to let us know if you would like to attend the date listed below. All interested parties will be required to fill out the Engaged EG Application Form before you attend the training session.
Our next training session and orientation is March 27, please submit your applications before then to attend!
All volunteers are required to attend the orientation prior to volunteering for Town run events. Our next training session will be shared with applicants once the date is confirmed.
We are proud to become a member of the Neighbourhood Network. This program provides opportunities to engage volunteers from EG and surrounding municipalities with local charities and community groups.
Susan Boyne-Bird is the Ambassador for East Gwillimbury. For more information including volunteer opportunities, please visit Neighbourhood Network's website.
