Santa Claus Parade

Santa Claus is coming to town! Join us on Sunday, November 15 at 3 p.m. for the EG Santa Claus Parade.

Parade Route: 

2026 Santa Claus Parade Route

The parade begins at Mount Albert Road and Leslie Street (19000 Leslie Street in front of the Civic Centre) and ends at the Sports Complex (1914B Mount Albert Road). Gather your family and friends and prepare to be dazzled by the festive floats, marching bands, and, of course, the one and only Santa Claus. Please note that roads close at 2:30 p.m. and will reopen once the parade is over.

Letters to Santa: 

Attendees are encouraged to bring their letters for Santa as members of Canada Post and the Parade Marshalls will be walking throughout the parade, collecting letters, to then be mailed out to the North Pole.

Food Donations:

Parade attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, and new, unwrapped, toys for the Food and Toy Drive which will be collected along the parade route. Food items will be collected for the Holland Landing Food Pantry

Holiday Market

The Holiday Market runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 15 at the EG Sports Complex.

Vendor Market applications are coming soon!

Holiday Market Vendor Information

The Holiday Market is open to small business bakers, makers, and artisans. Vendor applications are subject to approval. Approved vendors will be contacted via email with a payment invoice.

Food vendors are required to have all public health requirements, and provide York Region Public Health forms.

The Holiday Market is outdoors. Vendor spots are 10' by 10' and do not have electrical access. Vendors are required to supply their own tent, weights, tables, chairs, battery lighting, etc.

Tree Lighting, Free Skate, and Photos with Santa!

Join Mayor and Council for our annual Holiday Tree Lighting, Free Skate, and Photos with Santa! Enjoy live music, Santa photos, food, artisan vendors, and more holiday fun!

Free skate: 3 to 6 p.m.
Photos with Santa: 4:15 to 5 p.m. (Canada Hall)
Tree Lighting Ceremony: Begins at 5:30 p.m.
Location: EG Sports Complex (1914B Mount Albert Road)
