Haunted Halloween Hike

Join us for the Haunted Halloween Hike event at the Sharon Museum and Gardens. Come dressed in your costume and enjoy a walk through the spooky forest, Live music dance party, and visit our vendor booths at the Mystical Market.

Date: Friday, October 23, 2026
Time: 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Location: Sharon Temple Museum and Gardens (18974 Leslie St., Sharon)
Cost: Free Admission and suitable for all ages!

Please bring donations of non-perishable food items to the event in support of the Holland Landing Food Pantry.
 Important Information:
  • Costumes are encouraged!!
  • There will be free, but limited parking onsite.
  • This is an outdoor event. Please dress appropriately for the weather. 
  • We ask that all children (17-yrs and younger) be accompanied by an adult during the event.
  • This event is not dog-friendly, so we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home. Thank you for understanding!
 Accessibility Information

Participant Advisory: Haunted Halloween Hike is a family-friendly event; however, the trail may include spooky decorations, sounds, lighting, and live actors. Some areas may be scary for younger participants or guests with sensory sensitivities, so parent or guardian discretion is advised.

 

“No Boo” necklaces will be available at the beginning of the trail for participants who do not wish to be scared by live actors. We ask that you please return the necklaces at the end of the trail. 

 

Accessible Parking: Accessible parking is available on site at Sharon Museum and Gardens. Additional parking is also available at the East Gwillimbury Civic Centre.

 

Accessible Washrooms: Accessible portable washrooms are available on site.

 

Event Floor Surface: This is an outdoor event located on the grounds of Sharon Museum and Gardens. Event activities will take place on grass and dirt trails. Please note that the trail and grass areas may include uneven ground, slopes, and natural terrain.

 

Seating: Seating will be limited on site. There will be some picnic tables available located on the grass area.

 

Accessibility Supports: Alternative formats of event communications and information are available upon request. If you require a copy of any event communications or information in an alternative format, please email EGEvents@eastgwillimbury.ca.

 

Format of Event Communications/Information Provision: Event information will be provided and displayed on A-frame signs throughout the event site.

  • Check out the fun and spooky trail, with the Queensville Players providing live action engagement. (*please respect these talented actors and the entertainment they are providing for the event trail). 
  • Take a picture with our real life Ghostbusters, along with their giant Slimer and vehicle!
  • DJ Demeaner playing party music. 
  • Shop the Mystical Market to purchase treats, and artisan products ($)
