East Gwillimbury’s Celebrating the Arts, A Taste of Culture (TOC) is back for 2025! Presented by the Rice Group, this is the ultimate event that connects the community through arts, culture, food and heritage.

Location: East Gwillimbury Civic Centre, 19000 Leslie St, Sharon

Cost: Free Admission and suitable for all ages! 

Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for the Holland Landing Food Pantry at the event.

This is an outdoor event. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Become a vendor at this event.

TOC welcomes all vendors based on variety and originality; each vendor must provide an arts or cultural aspect to their booth, following our festival's theme.

*Food Trucks and Artisan Vendors are encouraged to apply. Vendor Deadline is August 1 at 4:30 p.m. Apply today to take part in this year's event!

Please note application approval and payment: Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance to the event. All applications will be considered for review. Applicants will be notified by email of approval and will receive a payment invoice. Fees must be paid within 10-days of approval email. Spots will not be held and fees are non-refundable and not transferable. Approved vendors will be required to read and abide by the Rules and Regulations policy. 

 Food Business Vendors and Food Truck Compliance (YR Public Health and Permits Required)
 

Food and beverage vendors must provide to the Events team, upon application acceptance, a copy of their York Region Public Health Application for Events form prior to attending. YRPH approved inspected food prepared sites and Food Handling certifications are required. Uninspected home prepared foods is not acceptable. Failure to provide a YRPH form will result in removal from the market and forfeit of any fees.

Food trucks must request and pay for electrical usage, as approved by the Events team (space is limited), otherwise requires their own generator. Food trucks must have a recent Fire Inspection and Licensing Forms available for review. Failure to abide by these rules and regulations will result in removal from the event. Please contact EG's By-Laws department and EG Fire and Emergency Services for more information.    

 

Garbage

Vendors are asked to dispose of garbage throughout the duration of the event and at teardown. *Do not leave any leftover bags of food, etc. as all garbage must be able to be placed into the Town provided garbage/recycling cans at the event.  

Food Trucks must take food garbage, cooking oil, etc. with them and not dispose in Town garbage bins. 

 Artisan, Community Groups, and Not-for-Profit Group Vendors

Vendor Requirements:

Vendors are responsible for supplying, setting up and removing their tables, chairs, tents, weights, canopies/coverings, and display materials. Electrical access is not available at this event, unless with an approved generator/power box. Vendors are responsible to have all canopies secured with enough weights (approx. min 25 lbs per leg). *The Town of EG, Staff, and EG volunteers are not responsible for damages to vendor supplies.

Vendor Space:

Vendor booths are not permitted to be shared. Vendor spots are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Community groups and Not-for-profit organizations:

All applications for community groups and NFP organization applications are considered for review. Applicants will be provided with approval and an invoice to participate. Any direct fundraising, raffles, or charged services will not be approved, as considered solicitation. Please contact our Events team for more information on requirements.
