East Gwillimbury’s Taste of Culture and Culture Crawl will be combined into a single, enhanced event titled “Celebrating the Arts.” The event will now take place on September 26, 2026, aligning with the provincial Culture Days celebration. Presented by the Rice Group, this is the ultimate event that connects the community through arts, culture, food and heritage.

East Gwillimbury’s Taste of Culture and Culture Crawl events are coming together to create one vibrant, enhanced celebration: Celebrating the Arts. Taking place on September 26, 2026, in alignment with the provincial Culture Days celebration, this dynamic community event will bring residents and visitors together to experience the rich arts, culture, food, and heritage that make East Gwillimbury unique.

Time: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Location: Sharon Museum and Gardens & Health and Active Living Plaza

Cost: Free Admission and suitable for all ages!

Accessible Parking: All parking lots and entrances are full accessible.

 

Accessible Washrooms: There are accessible universal washrooms (including change tables) on each floor of the indoor facility. The men and women's washrooms are also accessible.

 

Event Floor Surface: This is an indoor and outdoor event.

  • Indoor Facility: The indoor facility is fully paved and accessible.
  • Stage Viewing Area: The stage viewing area is primarily located on grass, which may include uneven terrain and slopes; however, a paved accessible viewing area will be available at the front of the stage.
  • Market Area: The market area is located on a paved street.
  • Outdoor Park: The Outdoor Park is surrounded by paved, accessible sidewalks.

 

Seating:

  • Stage Seating: Seating will be limited in the stage viewing area. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
  • Outdoor Park Seating: Some seating will be available throughout the park, including picnic tables and existing park seating.
  • Indoor Facility Seating: Indoor seating will be available inside the facility within the main hallway.

The Town of East Gwillimbury is proud to host Celebrating the Arts during Ontario Culture Days. 

Ontario Culture Days is a province-wide celebration of arts, culture, and creativity taking place from September 18 to October 4, 2026. It invites people to discover and engage with artistic experiences in their own communities through free or pay-what-you-may events.
