EG offers a variety of drop-in programs throughout our community to offer a selection of activities that meet the needs of your busy schedule. Please review the program guidelines before attending to maximize your experience and ensure the safety of everyone.

We're making a few simple updates to keep the track space safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. 

 

Ages 15+: May use the track independently 

Ages 10 to 14: Welcome with parent or guardian supervision for training or fitness goals 

Under 10: Not permitted on the track, however children in strollers are welcome

 

Safety and Etiquette 

  • Clean, dry footwear required 
  • Walkers stay near railing, runners pass on outside 
  • No stopping or resting on railings 
  • Do not walk side by side and yield to faster users 
  • Strollers, walkers and service permitted 
  • Water or sport beverages only 

 

Track Direction 

Clockwise: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 

Counter-Clockwise: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 

 

Access 

  • Upstairs access is for Active EG and Matrix of Motion Members only
  • Use of fitness equipment requires a Matrix of Motion Membership
  • Participants may be asked to show membership or wristbands

Program Description

Artist Drop-in                  

Drop-in for local artists to meet together to work on art projects, share ideas, socialize and learn from each other. Materials are not provided and there is no charge. 

Badminton 

Play a game or practice skills! Bring your own racket or borrow one on-site. 

Family Basketball                           

Spend time together as a family playing a game of basketball or practicing basketball drills.   

Family Multi-Sport

Enjoy spending quality time together as a family by participating in a variety of sports and activities in a fun, non-competitive environment. Sports can include basketball, dodgeball, floor hockey, indoor soccer, lacrosse, and more! 

Family Volleyball 

Come have a friendly game of volleyball with the family.

Parent and Tot Open Gym

Introduce your child to active living and learning through play at an early age. Child ages 5 and under can run, jump and play in a gym full of play equipment. Enjoy free play and meet other families in your neighbourhood. Payment is only required for the child.

Pickleball

This recreational drop-in is open to all skill levels. Enjoy playing a game with a partner, play as doubles or practice pickleball skills. No registration is required, and the capacity limit is 24 players at the Ross Family Complex, or 28 players at the Health and Active Living Plaza.

Volleyball

Enjoy playing a game of volleyball or practice skills.
Basketball  Enjoy playing a game of basketball, practice shooting hoops or other basketball drills. 
Youth Multi-Sport

For youth to participate in a variety of sports, including activities such as soccer, basketball, floor hockey and more. 

Kinder Playgroup

A fun play-based program for children aged 5 and under that encourages creativity and movement. Payment is only required for the child.

Soccer

Join us for indoor gym soccer, practice skills or play a game!

Sensory Sports Zone Inclusive space designed to support movement, exploration, and relaxation through sports and play.
Teen Zone
Spend your Friday nights at the gym with friends in a fun and welcoming environment. Enjoy access to games, sports, and open gym time. It is a great way to stay active and connect with others. No registration required. Just drop in and join the fun!
