Trail safety notice - temporary closures

Please be cautious around creeks, rivers, and trails in East Gwillimbury!

 Temporary barricades have been placed at the following trails due to flooding and slippery/icy conditions: 

  • Vivian Creek Park Trail (between Samuel Harper Court and the Soccer field)
  • Shannon Park Trail (between Centre Street and the Tennis Courts) 
  • Nokiidaa Trail bridge (at Green Lane)

Updates will be shared once the sections of the above trails reopen. Please be safe and follow signs posted in the area.

East Gwillimbury – Well positioned for growth with healthy reserves and no debt

East Gwillimbury staff provided an update on financial reserves to Council at the February 8 Council Workshop. The estimated reserves of $125.3 M and no debt reflect the Town’s solid financial status.
