Overnight permit parking permits available

The Town is offering a new permit-based overnight parking program. 
The permitted parking program has been developed as a measure to address immediate parking challenges in the community while a more comprehensive analysis is undertaken.

Two public meetings were held on January 27 for: 

  • Sharon Heritage Conservation District (HCD) - East Gwillimbury is completing an HCD Study for the community of Sharon. The HCD would provide guidelines and policies to support decision-making and planning for the areas. Residents can provide feedback and learn more at

Mount Albert Community Centre Outdoor Rink

Outdoor Skating Rinks Now Open

The outdoor rink at the Mount Albert Community Centre (53 Main Street) and Ridge View Park (16 Pear Blossom Way) are officially open and ready for skating.  Enjoy the outdoor rinks daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. with lights available for evening skates! Residents can activate the lights by pushing the buttons located within the metal lighting pedestal. Lights will automatically turn off at 11 p.m. or can be turned off manually.
