What we’re looking to improve 

Through this project, we’re exploring ways to: 

  • Make information easier to find 

  • Improve navigation and search features 

  • Enhance accessibility for all users 

  • Highlight important services, news, and community information 

  • Refresh the design and layout 

Why are we updating the website? 

EG’s website must continually evolve to keep up with changing technology and the needs of the community. The website platform the Town currently uses is retiring, and EG’s site must be transitioned from the current platform. This project will also enable the Town to improve accessibility of content on the website and deliver an improved user experience.

Next Steps

  • Review survey results from the public, staff, and municipal partners to identify priorities for changes and enhancements

  • Staff will be working to implement back-end updates to support new features and improvements, such as refreshed website content, improved site navigation, and enhanced online services and functionality
