Dog Licences
East Gwillimbury staff will be visiting homes over the next few weeks to assist you with purchasing a dog tag. Dog tags must be purchased annually. A dog tag will be provided to be put on your dog’s collar when it’s not on your property. If a dog is found without a tag, the owner could receive a $350 fine. 2023 Property Taxes Due
The second interim property tax payment was due on April 28. Payments can be made at your bank, online/phone banking or, through a pre-authorized payment plan or online using the Town’s payment portal. Learn more at www.eastgwillimbury.ca/PropertyTax

Residents are asked to avoid or limit mowing their lawns until June to support the creation of food sources and homes for pollinators during spring. You could be entered to win a $150 basket from Queensville Farm Supply and Country Store! Yard Waste Collection
Yard waste collection takes place every other week. Please place yard waste in paper, compostable bags or open top containers (labelled with yellow yard waste stickers) at the side of the street with the rest of your collection bins. Yard waste stickers and bag tags are available at the Civic Centre or Sports Complex Customer Service desk during regular business hours. Learn more at www.eastgwillimbury.ca/Waste

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Gathering and Vigil
Join the Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum on May 5 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for a gathering and vigil in honour of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
