Outdoor Rinks Closed
Due to warmer temperatures, both outdoor rinks at Ridge View Park (16 Pear Blossom Way) and the Mount Albert Community Centre (53 Main Street) are closed. Please stay off the ice surface and follow all posted signage in the area. Stay up to date on the status of the rinks on our Public Skating page.
Invasive Species Awareness Week
Invasive Species Awareness Week (ISAW) runs from February 23 to March 1, 2026, and is an opportunity to raise awareness and learn how we can protect natural spaces.
An invasive species is a non-native animal, plant, insect, fungus, or pathogen that causes harm. These species threaten biodiversity and ecological integrity, and some pose health risks to people and communities by damaging public and private property, impacting agriculture and threatening food security costing Ontario billions of dollars each year.

Youth Support Fund Financial Assistance
Every child deserves the chance to participate in recreation and sport programs. East Gwillimbury’s Youth Support Fund helps local families access programs for youth under 19, removing financial barriers so kids can play, grow, and thrive. Confidential applications are accepted year-round and can be submitted online or in person at the Civic Centre. For more information and to apply, visit our Youth Support Fund page.

Work includes construction of multi-use paths, road resurfacing, sidewalk connections, watermain and storm sewer installation and culvert rehabilitation.
Local access to all properties within the work zone, including homes and businesses, the Holland Landing Fire Station and the Holland Landing Community Centre and Library, will be maintained during construction.
For more information and to view the project map, please visit our Enhance EG page.
No Stopping Restrictions on Woodbine Avenue
