Asset Management Plan
The Town of East Gwillimbury’s 2025 Asset Management Plan (AMP) has been approved, and we’re pleased to share that 93% of our assets are in fair or better condition, with 82% rated in Very Good condition, reflecting strong overall infrastructure health.

What is an asset?
Assets include vital infrastructure and facilities like roads, bridges, culverts, wastewater networks, Town vehicles, and municipal buildings.

What does “condition” mean?
Asset condition refers to an asset’s performance, reliability, and safety, which is essential to maintaining service quality for the community.

The AMP is a strategic roadmap, guiding how the Town will manage, maintain, and replace these assets to ensure sustainable service delivery over the next 10 years.

To support long-term sustainability, the AMP provides a financial strategy to ensure appropriate investment in the repair and replacement of Town assets, helping to maintain them in Good condition.

East Gwillimbury’s AMP reflects a strong starting point, with above-average asset condition and a measured financial strategy, supporting responsible growth and service reliability.

Learn more about the AMP at eastgwillimbury.ca/AMP.
