Draft Tree Protection By-law

The Town is seeking public feedback on the Draft Tree Protection By-law! The proposed draft by-law will protect the existing tree canopy on private property to ensure the preservation of natural heritage areas throughout the Town. Residents are invited to review the draft by-law and provide feedback at the upcoming Public Open Houses:

 There’s still time to share your thoughts on the proposed designs for a new sidewalk and road improvements at:

2024 Summer Camp Registration

Drop-in Programs
EG has many Drop-in Programs for you to join, such as:

  • Active Start in partnership with Pulsars gymnastics – Fridays until March 8
  • Pickleball programs – Monday to Friday at the Ross Family Complex and the Harvest Hills Activity Centre. Various program times are available. 
  • Active EG Fitness – First come first serve basis until April 19, no registration required.

Public Information Session for Sharon Heritage Village
Are you interested in learning about the history of the Sharon Village area? Share your thought's at EG's second Public Information Session for the Sharon Heritage Conservation District Study on Thursday, February 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Temperance Hall (18994 Leslie Street). The Study involves historic research, photographic documentation of the area and community engagement. The Study will evaluate the merit of designating a Heritage Conservation District and developing a plan. The Study Area focuses on Leslie Street as a key historic core of the community.
