Join an Earth Week Event:

  • Flag Raising Ceremony | April 22 at 9 a.m. | Civic Centre
    Raise the Earth Day flag and officially kick off Earth Week in EG.

York Region Transit Service Changes

York Region Transit (YRT) service changes will take effect on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

Schedule and route adjustments will be made to various routes to match customer demand, including:

  • Routes servicing the Major Mackenzie West Terminal will be restructured to exit the terminal via Amusement Drive; schedules will be updated to reflect the changes
  • Routes 320 – Jane Express and 360 – Vaughan Mills/Wonderland schedules will be adjusted to match Vaughan Mills Mall and Canada’s Wonderland business hours
