Mosquito Control Program 2022

Posted on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 09:29 AM

The Town’s mosquito control program begins Tuesday, April 19, 2022. The program consists of the application of a biological larvicide (VectoBac 200G [PCP#18158, granular formulation]), by helicopter, to standing water mosquito breeding habitats within the Town.

During this period residents may notice helicopters flying low and applying the larvicide product to standing water and wooded areas.

Holland Landing Splash Pad Construction

Posted on Tuesday, April 05, 2022 01:51 PM

The Town of East Gwillimbury is making updates to the Holland Landing splash pad. We are working to improve drainage and uneven surfaces on the splash pad surface.

The playground and park will remain open, during construction, and the splash pad will open sometime in June.

Park users should be aware that the asphalt path connecting Holland Landing Park to Beckett Avenue is partially blocked; please go around the construction fencing to access the park.
