An East Gwillimbury (EG) delegation consisting of members of municipal Council and staff attended the 2024 Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) conference, August 18 – 21 in Ottawa, Ontario.

The annual conference is AMO's premier event, which provides Ontario municipalities an opportunity to speak with provincial decision-makers on matters of mutual interest.

Pre-engineering work begins for the Mount Albert Storm Sewer Outfalls, RetainingWall and Trail in Vivian Creek Park

EG’s project consultant, Aquafor Beech Limited will be in the field completing preliminary pre-engineering work for future enhancements to the storm sewer outfalls and retaining wall within Vivian Creek Park. Surveying, utility locating, arborist, environmental, and stormwater assessments are scheduled to be completed by September.
