Temporary Closure Main Street Mount Albert

We’re making progress on the Mount Albert Downtown Revitalization Project. As part of this work, a short closure will be in place along Main Street in Mount Albert on December 2 from 7 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. The closure is limited to a small work zone about 70 metres west of Centre Street.

Access to properties and entrances, including homes, businesses and the Mount Albert Community Centre, will remain open during this closure.

The Town of East Gwillimbury's annual Toy and Food Drive hopes to make the holiday season a little brighter for families and charities in our community. Donations of non-perishable food items, gift cards, new unwrapped toys  toiletries and more are being accepted until December 12, 2025. Kindly do not donate any expired food.
