East Gwillimbury kicks off its Summer off Parks celebrations with the opening of Silk Twist Trail

The Town of East Gwillimbury is excited to launch its first Summer of Parks opening celebration today at Silk Twist Trail in the community of Holland Landing. Throughout the spring and summer months, with members of the community, the Town will be hosting 11 community celebrations to unveil and celebrate some of EG’s new places to play.

No Mow May 2022

The Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) is asking residents to help support pollinators during this crucial spring period as they are seeking their first food sources of the season such as dandelions and other flowers typically found in lawns.

Mosquito Control Program

EG's mosquito control program has begun. The program consists of the application of a biological larvicide (VectoBac 200G [PCP#18158, granular formulation]), by helicopter, to standing water mosquito breeding habitats within the Town.
