Community Art Display at the HALP
Throughout October, visit a meaningful art display at the HALP, presented in partnership with The Family Place in Mount Albert. Created in collaboration with The Canadian Library, this community-led display serves as a visual memorial honouring Indigenous women and children who have been murdered or gone missing. Each covered book bears an individual name, acting as a personal memorial to a life lost. Through art, the display offers an opportunity for reflection, remembrance and learning while supporting the ongoing path toward reconciliation. We encourage residents to take time this month to visit the display and reflect on its important message. For more information, visit thecanadianlibrary.ca.
