  • Don’t leave garbage or unattended food out
  • Make noise when travelling
  • Ensure pets are leashed
  • If you encounter a bear, stay calm, don’t startle the bear, just back away slowly and call the Bear Wise reporting line at 1-866-514-2327.

Vivian Creek Trail Closures
East Gwillimbury is gathering public feedback related to the closed portion of trail along Vivian Creek Trail. This portion of the natural trail was closed due to a deteriorating retaining wall which created unsafe conditions. The Town would like feedback from local residents to evaluate the impact of permanently closing this portion of the trail. Learn more at www.eastgwillimbury.ca/VivianCreek
