New Hospital Coming to East Gwillimbury
On Monday, Soutlake Health announced that East Gwillimbury  would be the home of their new acute care hospital as part of Southlake Health’s future Distributed Health Network. This announcement was backed by a $10 million investment from the Province of Ontario. The hospital will be built in Queensville, west of Leslie Street and south of the future Bradford Bypass.

As one of the region’s fastest-growing communities, East Gwillimbury will benefit from improved access to emergency and inpatient care, shorter travel times, and services that better support a growing and aging population. The new site will also strengthen connections to care across York Region and southern Simcoe County.

Planning is now underway, with further details to be shared as the project progresses.

For more information visit our Southlake page.
