Firearm By-law in EG

All relevant Federal and Provincial Regulations pertaining to firearms must be complied with, including but not limited to the Canada Criminal Code, Firearms Act, and the Ontario Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act. 

Not all firearm discharges are illegal. If you believe you are in danger, please call 911.

East Gwillimbury is excited to unveil the resident-selected sculpture, Holding Hope, on October 22 at 11 a.m. in the Children of Peace Park (68 Sharonview Cresent). Members of the community are invited to attend the unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

York Region crews are night paving as part of road improvements on Highway 11 from Green Lane to the Bradford Boundary in the Town of East Gwillimbury and Township of King.

East Gwillimbury Improving Older Adult Programs

The Town of East Gwillimbury (EG) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the provincial government to support the development and growth of older adult programs in EG.
