Highlights from the October 11 Meeting

Environmental Strategy – EG is developing an Environmental Strategy to compile what the Town has done and will do to support the environment. The strategy outlines short and long-term goals and outreach. The proposed strategy will be brought back to Council for final approval later this year. To learn more visit,

Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Get the gang together to lead the way for Santa when he comes to town on November 19 at 2 p.m. Register a float or walking group to be in this year’s Santa Claus parade. Learn more about the Tree Lighting and Christmas Market or volunteer at www.eastgwillimbury.ca/Santa

Road Closure
Due to site conditions, the temporary road closure of Kennedy Road from Mount Albert Road to Doane Road has been extended to Tuesday, October 31. Work to replace the bridge continues and York Region will provide updates when the road reopens. Work may be rescheduled due to weather, visit www.york.ca for more information.
