Notice of Controlled Burn
The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority is planning a controlled burn at the Rogers Native Meadow Project Site in early to mid-April. Construction Notice - Leslie Street and Mount Albert Road
Construction work is ongoing in the intersection of Leslie Street and Mount Albert Road. Lane restrictions and traffic delays are expected for approximately two weeks. Work will then move east along Mount Albert Road. Access to the Civic Centre front entrance will be maintained through a single, traffic-controlled lane. This work supports the expansion of servicing to the new Loblaws Distribution Centre.

Road Closure - Yonge Street
Yonge Street will be closed from Highway 11 to Holland Landing Road from March 13 to early May for road surface improvements and the construction of a retaining wall. Learn more at www.york.ca/RoadConstruction

Seasonal Road Weight Limits
Spring weather is on the way and seasonal road weight limits are in effect! Commercial vehicles and trailers that weigh above 11,000 pounds per axle are prohibited on roads were signage is posted. Learn more at www.eastgwillimbury.ca/WeightLimits

Notice of Study Commencement
The Town of East Gwillimbury has initiated a Heritage Conservation District (HCD) Study under Section 41, Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act for the historic community of Sharon. 36 properties in the HCD Study Area are listed on EG’s Municipal Heritage Register under Section 27, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
