East Gwillimbury (EG) is excited to announce updates to the Active EG Membership. Beginning June 2, 2025, residents will have even greater access to recreation and wellness opportunities as a range of memberships become available at all EG recreation facilities. This includes membership options for the Town’s highly anticipated Health and Active Living Plaza, set to open this fall.

New Active EG Membership options:

  • 10-visit pass: Enjoy flexibility and savings with the Active EG 10-visit pass. Pay for 9 visits and receive the 10th visit for free. This pass gives you access to either gymnasium/track, skating, shinny, swimming, aqua fit or fitness drop-ins. Valid for only one area of programs. Valid one year from purchase date.
  • Monthly: Stay active and engaged all month long with the Active EG Monthly Membership. Enjoy unlimited access to all drop-in programs, including swimming, fitness gymnasium, and skating programs. This option is the ideal choice for those looking for flexibility, variety, and great value in one convenient package.
  • Yearly: Commit to a year of wellness and fun with our Active EG Yearly Membership! Get unlimited access to all drop-in programs throughout the year. Pay for 11 months and get one month completely free.

To celebrate the launch, EG is offering a special early sign-up incentive. Signing up for a yearly membership in June 2025 will give members access until October 2026, meaning those additional months are free! Additionally, the first 100 individuals to register—50 online and 50 in-person at the EG Sports Complex—will receive a welcome gift.
