Health and Active Living Plaza Official Groundbreaking

Join us on October 4, 2022, at 12 p.m. as we officially break ground for the Health and Active Living Plaza. This facility will host EG's first aquatics centre, a new public library, an indoor boardwalk, and more! We're meeting at the north end of Jim Mortson Dr. off Leslie St.

Holding Hope selected to be installed in Children of Peace Park

East Gwillimbury Council approved the installation of Holding Hope in Children of Peace Park following an extensive community engagement process.

The process began earlier this year with a community call out for design proposals. The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee received and assessed 13 submissions and selected two concepts to move to the next phase.
