Holding Hope selected to be installed in Children of Peace Park

East Gwillimbury Council approved the installation of Holding Hope in Children of Peace Park following an extensive community engagement process.

The process began earlier this year with a community call out for design proposals. Beechwood Park makes 11. East Gwillimbury’s Summer of Parks makes its final stop for the year at Beechwood Park. EG’s newest place to play is located in the Winged Foot development in Holland Landing.

The park features a half-court basketball, junior and senior playground equipment, shade structure, and the Town’s largest lit baseball diamond. Notice of Construction

There will be construction on Leslie Street from Holborn Road to Ravenshoe Road in the Town of East Gwillimbury until late Fall 2022.

Road improvements:

  • A road preservation treatment, called microsurfacing, will be applied to Leslie Street
  • It is a common and cost-effective way to maintain and treat roads with minor defects and can extend the life of a road up to eight years
