The Town of East Gwillimbury (EG) is inviting swim teams to submit proposals for a new three-year partnership opportunity at the Health and Active Living Plaza’s (HALP) Aquatic Centre. The opportunity is open to established swim teams or those interested in creating a new team in EG. Interested groups will have access to a modern, versatile Aquatic Centre designed to support recreation, fitness, and competitive training in a convenient location.
“The Health and Active Living Plaza was built with our growing community in mind, and we’re excited to see it continue to evolve with partnership opportunities,” says Mayor Virginia Hackson. “Welcoming a swim team to our Aquatic Centre is another exciting step forward, creating opportunities for athletes of all ages to train, compete, and connect close to home.”

With its convenient location and structured programming space, the HALP’s Aquatic Centre provides an ideal space for teams to create, grow, and develop over the next three years. Interested teams or people looking to build a new one can submit proposals online via the Town’s Bids and Tenders website by Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1 p.m. Questions regarding the proposal will be accepted until Thursday, February 26, 2026, at noon.
