Mount Albert Downtown Revitalization Strategy
The Mount Albert Downtown Revitalization Public Consultation, Engagement and Communications Strategy was presented to Council. There will be several opportunities for the public to learn more about the project and provide comments. This includes the Community Open House on May 26 and several public information centres. Yonge Street Holland Landing Project
Staff provided an update to Council on the Yonge Street Holland Landing Revitalization Project. The Project involves advancing a 1.7 km multi-use trail within the downtown core of Holland Landing. The Project will enhance the public space and support economic growth for the area. Cosburn Giberson Landscape Architects will be leading the detailed design for the Project.

Online Payment Launch - Coming Soon
Staff announced that the CityView Online Portal will be launched soon. The Portal will enable online application and payment for building permits, as well as requests for building inspections. The new system is a key modernization initiative and is part of the Town’s efforts to improve access to programs and services.

Notice of Intention to Remove Holding Symbol
A Holding Symbol (H1) was applied to 1420 Mount Albert Road and 19202 Leslie Street when zoning for the development was approved (ZBA.19.01) to ensure building permits could not be issued until adequate water and wastewater servicing was available. The applicant submitted a request to remove the hold from portions of the properties to develop further. The applicant is proposing to transfer allocation from their previous phases of development to prioritize the 1420 Mount Albert Road and 19202 Leslie Street development.
