LDD burlap removal

Due to the infestation of Lymantria Dispar Dispar (LDD) within East Gwillimbury, the Town will be giving away one piece of burlap per household, beginning Friday, April 8, 2022, while supplies last. Information sheets on proper install and use of burlap bands will be available.

Burlap can be picked up at the following locations:

The Civic Centre

  • 19000 Leslie Street, Sharon
  • Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

EG Public Library, Holland Landing Branch

  • 19513 Yonge Street, Holland Landing
  • Tuesday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Closed Sunday and Monday

EG Public Library, Mount Albert Branch

  • 19300 Centre Street, Mount Albert
  • Tuesday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Closed Sunday and Monday

Farmers Market

  • Civic Centre, 19000 Leslie Street, Sharon
  • Thursdays from May 19 to October 6 from 2 to 7 p.m.
