  • September 9 - The final Council Meeting of the 2022 to 2026 Term of Council will be held at 6 p.m.  
Meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Civic Centre located at 19000 Leslie Street. The agenda for this meeting will be available at noon on the Thursday before the meeting at eastgwillimbury.ca/Agendas

Notice Temporary Road Closure: Davis Drive Improvements
York Region is continuing improvements on Davis Drive, including paving operations and culvert rehabilitation. Paving work will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily starting August 11 to 17, between Highway 48 and York Durham Line. While the road will remain open during paving operations, lane restrictions will be in place and motorists should expect delays.

To complete paving and culvert rehabilitation work, Davis Drive between Ninth Line and York Durham Line will be temporarily closed from 7 a.m. on August 15 until 7 p.m. on August 16. Access to local homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the closure. Residents and travellers are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes where possible, and allow extra time for travel during the construction period.

Metrolinx – Barrie GO Line Service Adjustments in August
Customers travelling on the Barrie GO Line should plan ahead for temporary service changes due to GO Expansion construction work. No train service will operate on August 15-16, with replacement buses running between Allandale Waterfront GO and Rutherford GO. From August 17-20, trains will run on modified schedules, with some trips replaced by buses or operating only between Maple GO and Union Station.
