Public Skating Information

Outdoor Ice Surfaces

Outdoor Ice Surfaces Update: The Town's two outdoor ice surfaces located at Ridge View Park and Mount Albert Community Centre Park have been closed for the season due to warm temperatures. For ways to stay active outdoors in EG, visit the Outdoor Amenities page.

East Gwillimbury (EG) staff operate and maintain two outdoor ice rinks during the winter season. You can find one in Holland Landing at Ridgeview Park (16 Pear Blossom Way) links to external site and one in Mount Albert at the Mount Albert Community Centre (53 Main Street). Rinks are subject to weather conditions.

Indoor Public Skating

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Sports Complex remains closed to the public. Currently, indoor public skating is on hold until further notice. Additional updates will be shared once available.
