Notice of Bridge Work - Queensville Sdrd.

The Town of East Gwillimbury will be performing minor repairs to the bridge (No. 000110) on Queensville Sideroad, which is located approximately 125 metres east of Highway 48.

Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin the week of December 19, 2022 and is expected to be complete by Friday, January 13, 2023.The bridge will remain open during construction. Road users may experience delays when travelling in the area due to temporary lane closures to accommodate the repairs.

Noon Years Eve is back! Join us on December 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the EG Sports Complex (1914B Mount Albert Road) to celebrate the new year early! Countdown to 2023 and celebrate with your little ones.

Cold Weather Response for Residents Experiencing Homelessness

York Region’s 2022-2023 Cold Weather Response Plan includes safe, temporary housing and support for residents with no alternative housing options – and continues to include adjustments to reduce risks associated with COVID-19. While the pandemic remains a challenge for York Region residents, it continues to have a significant impact on vulnerable populations, including people experiencing homelessness.
