Yonge Street is currently closed in both directions between the Dutch Settlers Square Plaza entrance and Dutch Settlers Court. Access to local businesses and community facilities will be maintained via signed detour routes. All pedestrian access, including the multi-use pathway, will be rerouted. Pedestrians can also follow signed detour routes.

Queen Street Closure - This closure has been extended to allow for the contractor to install two retaining walls at the northwest and southwest corners of the Yonge Street intersection. Works are anticipated to be completed by the end of day, June 19th, pending favourable weather conditions.
Local access to all properties within the work zone, including homes and businesses, the Holland Landing Fire Station and the Holland Landing Community Centre and Library, will be maintained during construction.
The Enhance EG Yonge Street Revitalization project will be transitioning to a single phase closure in late August 2026. This means the road closures between Mount Albert Road and Doane Road will be removed. This fall, and for the remainder of the project, there will be lane restrictions and traffic controls as required and/or minor road closures as needed. Signage will be in place to guide travellers.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.

The Yonge Street Revitalization is a collaborative project between the Town and York Region that seeks to revitalize downtown Holland Landing along the Yonge Street corridor through streetscape and infrastructure improvements. The core project area focuses on Yonge Street from Mount Albert Road to Doane Road. The project seeks to advance a 1.7 km multi-use path within the downtown core of Holland Landing establishing a key active transportation linkage and extension of the Region’s Lake to Lake Trail network through the community of Holland Landing.
