Town of East Gwillimbury Appoints New General Manager, Development Services

The Town of East Gwillimbury is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerri Voumvakis as the new General Manager of Development Services, effective December 8, 2025.

Kerri brings nearly 40 years of experience in municipal planning and public policy, including senior leadership roles at the City of Toronto, where she most recently served as Interim Chief Planner and Executive Director. She has worked extensively with government and community partners to support sustainable growth, lead major city building initiatives and planning policy.

Kerri holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Diploma in Public Administration from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is a recognized expert in land use planning and has contributed to several governance boards and community organizations.

The Town looks forward to the expertise and leadership Kerri will bring as East Gwillimbury continues to grow and evolve.
