National Public Works Week
We’re celebrating National Public Works Week which takes place this year from May 17 to 23. This year’s theme is ‘Rooted in Service, Powered by Community”, representing that the roots of service run deep in public works.

Who makes up EG’s Public Works? Our Public Works team includes crews who care for our roads (including clearing more than 345 cm of snow), manage municipal water and wastewater, oversee town construction projects, and maintain our parks.

We’re grateful for the strong foundation EG’s Public Works staff have built in our community, and we thank them for their hard work and dedication to our community.

EG’s Trails are for Everyone
EG's trails are for everyone and are shared with those running, walking, and using micromobility devices, so please be safe and courteous. Micromobility is a general term used to describe lightweight human or electric-powered modes of travel such as e-bikes, bicycles, e-scooters, scooters, and skateboards. When passing a slower trail user, announce your presence or use a bell to notify the other users. Micromobility users and fast-moving persons must yield to other pedestrians and keep to the right except when passing. Learn more or find trails near you at eastgwillimbury.ca/Trails.
