The Town of East Gwillimbury (EG) is reminding eligible electors to check and confirm their information on the Voters’ List in advance of the Municipal and School Board Election on October 26, 2026.

The Voters’ List is used to prepare and deliver important voting information, including when and where to vote. Ensuring information is accurate helps ensure eligible electors receive their Voter Information Letter and avoid delays or additional steps when voting.

Eligible electors can check, update or add their information online through the Elections Ontario voter registration system. The province’s centralized platform allows residents to register once for both provincial and local elections, all in one place.

Eligible electors are encouraged to visit registertovoteon.ca to check their information. The process takes only a few minutes. Residents should review and confirm:

  • Name spelling
  • Home address
  • School board support

Checking your information is especially important if you have recently moved to or within EG, are a first-time voter, or have not voted in a recent election.

For questions about voter registration, residents can email info@registertovoteon.ca or call

1-866-242-3025.
