Community Open House

East Gwillimbury (EG) invites residents to its Community Open House on Thursday, May 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex, located at 1914B Mount Albert Road, Sharon. This event provides the community an opportunity to connect with Town staff, learn about key EG projects, and speak with staff about EG’s future.

The event will feature interactive displays created by Town staff on popular topics, showcasing their status and giving residents an opportunity to speak directly with the project staff.

Visitors can also enjoy:

  • Town Vehicle Display – A chance to explore EG’s mighty machines up close.
  • Extended Customer Service Hours – Customer Service will remain open until 7 p.m. to assist residents.
  • Grand Opening of the EG Farmers Market – Celebrate the return of the Farmers Market and love local with fresh, artisan goods and vendors.

“The Community Open House is an important event that allows us to engage directly with residents, share updates on projects, and hear the community’s ideas and feedback,” said Mayor Virginia Hackson. “We’re also excited to mark the grand opening of the East Gwillimbury Farmers Market as part of this special event.”
