East Gwillimbury (EG) is inviting residents, businesses, community organizations, and partners to take part in #MyEGExperience, a community-wide engagement campaign to better understand how people experience municipal programs, services, and life in EG. This feedback will help guide service improvements, future business plans and budgets, and other important Town initiatives.

As one of Ontario’s fastest-growing communities, EG is continuing to evolve. Through #MyEGExperience, the Town is checking in with the community to hear what is working well, where improvements can be made, and what matters most to the people who live, work, and do business here.

Residents and community members are invited to share their EG Experience through an online survey, community engagement sessions, and booths at Town events. Feedback will used to:

  • Inform ongoing improvements to municipal programs and services
  • Understand community priorities, emerging issues, and long-term goals
  • Inform strategic planning and future investments
  • Support the development of a clear vision for the community's future

Upcoming in-person engagement opportunities include:

  • Music and Market Nights
    • July 7, 14, 21, and 28 and August 4, 11, and 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. (the event runs until 9 p.m.) at the EG Civic Centre (19000 Leslie Street)
  • Facility Pop-Ups
    • July 17 and 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Health and Active Living Plaza (160 Jim Mortson Drive)
    • July 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the EG Sports Complex (1914B Mount Albert Road)
    • Additional dates and locations will be announced over the coming weeks
  • Community Drop-Ins
    • Look for the #MyEGExperience team at parks, trails, and other gathering places throughout the summer

As EG continues to grow and evolve, community input will play a critical role in identifying the priorities and opportunities that will help shape the Town over the next four years. Together, let’s continue building an exceptional East Gwillimbury, one experience at a time.
