EG moving towards more Broadband coverage
Council approved a $405,000 funding agreement with YorkNet to advance fibre connection to key municipal facilities in Mount Albert, Fire Station 2-6 and the Ross Family Complex. The investment will not only enhance municipal service delivery, but will create additional infrastructure that private internet service providers will be able to access to bring high-speed internet service to more residents. Funding will come from the Economic Development Initiatives and Servicing Community Capital Contribution (CCC) reserve.
