Birthday Party Packages

You will get two hours of staff assistance - one hour of led fun with arts and crafts and one hour helping with cake, gifts, etc.

Staff can assist with two birthday-inspired arts and crafts. The crafts will have to be relatively simple due to timing. Crafts include but are not limited to; decorating a cardboard cake, making crowns, and various plate arts and crafts.

The party package coordinator will email each party organizer one week before the party date to ask if there is a specific theme or any specific craft you would want for your party.

• Our party packages are geared towards children ages 5 to 12.
• Parties over 12 children will require an extra staff for a fee of $47.60 plus taxes.
• The number of guests is based on room capacity:
  • Ross Family Complex - Program Room capacity: 24 people 
  • Harvest Hills Activity Centre - Program Room capacity: 45 people
• Table and chair set-up and clean-up are included. Renters have 15 minutes before and after the permitted times for decorating.
• The party organizer must accompany the birthday party staff at the front door upon arrival of birthday party participants

• Ross Family Complex - Only available timeslots on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 2 to 4 p.m. (available during the summer months)
• Harvest Hills Activity Centre - Only available on Saturdays between 1 to 5 p.m. (now accepting bookings for Saturday September 16 and on)

Gymnasium activities include, but are not limited to, various sports, like; floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. We can also run parachute games, musical chairs, and many of your child's favourite games.

The party package coordinator will email each party organizer one week before the party date to ask if there is a specific game or activity you would like for your party.

Optional: Bouldering Wall - The bouldering wall is available for use during the sports and fun package; however, for added safety, an extra staff person is required at a fee of $47.60 plus taxes. (available at the Ross Family Complex only)

• No staff are provided for the skating party package.
• Parental supervision is required.
• You will get 50 minutes of ice time and 2 hour room rental in our Canada Hall A/B for cake and gifts.
• Table and chair set-up and clean-up are included.
• Renters have 15 minutes before and after the permitted times for decorating.
• The number of guests is based on room capacity. The Canada Hall A/B can hold up to 110 people.

You must submit a request for your preferred package at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance. If your desired party date is less than 3 to 4 weeks away, these party bookings are not guaranteed.

Party organizers are responsible for decorations, food, birthday cake, dishes and utensils.

• Any cancellation requests made more then two weeks before the booked party date, a full refund minus a $20 administration fee will be deducted.
• Any cancellation requests made within two weeks of the booked party date are not eligible for a refund.

We ask that you let us know 2 weeks before the booked party date if you expect attendance changes.

If the child is actively participating in the activities, they are included in the 1:12 staff to children ratio.

Yes, throughout the winter months we ask that all children bring indoor shoes for the gymnasium.

Party organizers are able to to use the kitchen space and all appliances in the kitchen area (excluding the stove and oven at the Ross Family Complex). Not all kitchens have the same equipment. Please ask about specific needs during the booking of the party. Kitchen access for up to 12 children.
