Birthday Party Packages

We're enhancing how you book skating, sports, arts, or playground
birthday parties starting August 20.

Beginning during the upcoming fall/winter registration session, customers will be able to view available birthday party packages and reserve their preferred date and time online in ActiveNet. For information on how to register, visit the Health and Active Living Guide page.

All birthday party bookings are final. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the Town cancels a booking due to facility closures, emergencies, or circumstances beyond control. The renter will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule (subject to availability).

Party organizers are responsible for decorations, food, birthday cake, dishes, and utensils. Participants should bring indoor shoes.

Final numbers of participants and adults are due at least two weeks before the party date. Siblings count towards the number of participants.

Birthday Party Package Options

Our party packages are two hours long and geared towards children ages five to 12. Explore the package options below for details on pricing, locations, available times, and more.

A $20 non-resident surcharge applies to all Birthday Party Packages.

Sports and Fun | $170.20 (+hst)

Enjoy two hours of staff assistance, starting with one hour of exciting activities in the gymnasium and followed by an hour in the party room for cake, gifts, and party time.

Our team can lead a variety of gymnasium activities, including popular sports like floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. We also offer fun games like parachute activities, musical chairs, and other favourites your child enjoy.

The Recreation Coordinator will contact you one week before the party to discuss any specific games or activities you'd like to include, ensuring the day is tailored to your preferences.

Bouldering Wall (optional add-on): Take the excitement to the next level with access to the bouldering wall (only available at the Ross Family Complex with this package). For added safety, an extra staff member is required at an additional fee of $56.60 including HST.

Arts and Crafts | $182.30 (+hst)

Enjoy two hours of dedicated staff assistance to make your child’s birthday memorable! Our team will lead one hour of engaging, birthday-inspired arts and crafts, followed by an hour of help with cake, gifts, and party activities.

Choose from a variety of fun, age-appropriate crafts, such as decorating a cardboard cake, creating crowns, and designing themed art. Crafts are designed to be simple and enjoyable for all, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun.

One week before the party, the Recreation Coordinator will reach out to discuss any specific themes or craft requests you may have to make this celebration uniquely yours.

Enjoy a two-hour party experience, including one hour in the lap or leisure pool followed by one hour in the party room. Staff will be available throughout to help ensure your party runs smoothly from start to finish.

Exclusive access to the party room for the two-hour timeslot. Dates and times are subject to availability.

Health and Active Living Plaza

Available Saturdays 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 4:45 to 6:45 p.m.

Book an Aquatic Birthday Party

Indoor Playground | $294.80 (+hst)

Your party will have two hours of exclusive use of our dynamic indoor playground along with access to a party room. Enjoy two hours of staff assistance to ensure your party runs smoothly from start to finish.

Adult supervision is required during playground play. Town staff are on-site to provide supplemental support, but do not replace the responsibility of and adult supervisor.

Exclusive access to the indoor playground and the party room for the two-hour timeslot. Dates and times are subject to availability.

Health and Active Living Plaza

Saturdays from 10 to 12 noon, 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m.

Book a Birthday Party

Skating | $266 (+hst)

Enjoy 50 minutes of private ice time and a two-hour room rental in Canada Hall A or B for cake, gifts, and more. The hall will be ready with tables and chairs, and our team will handle set-up and clean-up so you can focus on having fun.

Parental supervision is required as no staff assistance is provided. To make your event even more special, feel free to bring your own decorations to personalize the party room.

The Recreation Coordinator will contact you one week before your event to confirm details and answer any additional questions. Get ready to lace up and enjoy a fantastic skating celebration!

Location and Times

Exclusive access to Canada Hall A or B (capacity 96 each) for the two hour timeslot as well as 50 minutes of exclusive ice time. Dates and times are subject to availability.

East Gwillimbury Sports Complex

Available on Saturdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The ice booking is from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. and the room booking is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

What's Included in the Party Packages

Rental Information

Renters have 15 minutes before and after the scheduled party time for decorating and cleaning up.
Tables and chair set-up and clean-up is included in each package.
Access to kitchen space (including a fridge, freezer, oven or stove) is different at each facility. Please refer to the frequently asked questions below to see the available amenities at each location.

Birthday Party Leader

Staff-led party packages can accommodate up to 24 children. We recommend a staffing ratio of 1:12 (one staff member for every 12 children). An additional staff member can be added for $56.60.
