All Birthday Parties can be booked like registered programs. The schedule for parties will be released along with program registration dates. Visit the Health and Active Living Guide page for registration details.
Birthday party packages follow program registration dates. All birthday party bookings are final. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the Town cancels a booking due to facility closures, emergencies, or circumstances beyond control. The renter will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule (subject to availability).
Party organizers are responsible for decorations, food, birthday cake, dishes and utensils. Participants should bring indoor shoes.
Final numbers of participants and adults are due at least two weeks before the party date. Siblings count towards the number of participants.
Birthday Party Package Options

A $20 non-resident surcharge is applicable to all Birthday Party Packages.
Sports and Fun | $170.20 (+hst)
Enjoy two hours of staff assistance, starting with one hour of exciting activities in the gymnasium and followed by an hour in the party room for cake, gifts, and party time.
Our team can lead a variety of gymnasium activities, including popular sports like floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. We also offer fun games like parachute activities, musical chairs, and other favourites your child enjoy.
The Recreation Coordinator will contact you one week before the party to discuss any specific games or activities you'd like to include, ensuring the day is tailored to your preferences.
Bouldering Wall (optional add-on): Take the excitement to the next level with access to the bouldering wall (only available at the Ross Family Complex with this package). For added safety, an extra staff member is required at an additional fee of $56.60 including HST.
Arts and Crafts | $182.30 (+hst)
Enjoy two hours of dedicated staff assistance to make your child’s birthday memorable! Our team will lead one hour of engaging, birthday-inspired arts and crafts, followed by an hour of help with cake, gifts, and party activities.
Choose from a variety of fun, age-appropriate crafts, such as decorating a cardboard cake, creating crowns, and designing themed art. Crafts are designed to be simple and enjoyable for all, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun.
One week before the party, the Recreation Coordinator will reach out to discuss any specific themes or craft requests you may have to make this celebration uniquely yours.

Book an Aquatic Birthday Party
Indoor Playground | $294.80 (+hst)
Your party will have two hours of exclusive use of our dynamic indoor playground along with access to a party room. Enjoy two hours of staff assistance to ensure your party runs smoothly from start to finish.
Adult supervision is required during playground play. Town staff are on-site to provide supplemental support, but do not replace the responsibility of and adult supervisor.

Enjoy 50 minutes of private ice time and a two-hour room rental in Canada Hall A or B for cake, gifts, and more. The hall will be ready with tables and chairs, and our team will handle set-up and clean-up so you can focus on having fun.
Parental supervision is required as no staff assistance is provided. To make your event even more special, feel free to bring your own decorations to personalize the party room.

Birthday Party Leader Staff-led party packages can accommodate up to 24 children. We recommend a staffing ratio of 1 staff member for every 12 children. An additional party leader can be added for $56.60.

Q - What time can I come in to set up? A - Party packages include 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the scheduled party time for decorating and clean-up. Additional set-up or clean-up time cannot be accommodated.
Q - Can we switch rooms for our party? A - No. Each program room operates on its own schedule, so rooms cannot be changed once booked.
Q - Can we decorate the room? A - Yes! Decorations are welcome. Please avoid using tape, adhesives, or other materials that may damage the walls. All decorations and related materials must be removed before the end of your booking, and the room must be left in the condition in which it was found.
Q - Is there access to a stove, oven, fridge or freezer? A - Kitchen amenities vary depending on the room included with your booking. Please refer to the Kitchen Amenities section in the drop down above for information about the appliances and amenities available in each room.
Q - Do we have access to the TV in the HALP program room? A - Yes. You will need to bring your own streaming device and HDMI cable.
Q - Are keys required to access the facility/rooms? A - No. All facilities are staffed and will be open for your scheduled booking.
Q - Adjustments to the booking - Can I book a different timeslot then what is offered?/Can book more than two hours? A - Yes, please check availability online and fill out a request form for your requested space. Please note that bookings outside of the standard party package times are considered private rentals, and party staff will not be provided. Submitting a request form does not guarantee that the space is available or confirm your booking.
Q - What games are available for the Sports and Fun package? A - The Sports & Fun package includes a variety of equipment, such as:
Q - What do you supply for Arts and Crafts? A - General craft supplies are provided, including construction paper, scissors, glue, felt, popsicle sticks, ribbon, and more. Examples of crafts include:
Q - What amenities are provided at the facility? A - Tables and chairs are provided with the room. Dishes, plates, utensils, tea kettles, coffee urns, and speakers are not provided. Kitchen amenities vary by room. Please see the Kitchen Amenities section above for details.
Q - Is there music available/can we play music? A - Speakers are not provided. You are welcome to bring your own speaker, provided that the volume is kept at a reasonable level.
Q - Can we bring a face painter or mascot in for the party? A- Yes. Face painters and mascots are permitted.
Q - Will someone be there to help set up decorations? A - Yes. A party leader will be available when you arrive to assist with decorating set-up and will also assist with take-down at the end of the party.
