Sports Fields

East Gwillimbury (EG) maintains a variety of outdoor sports fields for you to enjoy. You can book soccer pitches, baseball diamonds, tennis, and basketball courts throughout EG.

Our season start on the first Friday of May (weather permitting) to the last week of September. If you wish to request the use of a facility, please fill out our Playing Field Request Form or call 905-478-3826 to check availability.

Rental rates

Below is a list of rental rates for soccer pitches and baseball diamonds. To check availability, please contact the Recreation Office at 905-478-3826 and fill out the Playing Field Request Form to request a playing field for any recreational activities.

Tournament rates

Additional to hourly rates, our tournament rate is $82.50 per day or event for up to two locations. Additional locations are an extra $27.50.

Tournament rates

Additional to hourly rates, our tournament rate is $58 per day or event for up to two locations. Additional locations are an extra $29.

Field and diamond closures

Sports fields and diamonds might close due to weather conditions. We will post notifications of closures that might affect your sports field and diamond on our field closures page. You can also call our field and diamond status hotline at 905-478-3825 to see if your field is open.

Tennis and Pickleball Courts

Courts are open and ready for play at:

Queensville Park – 1590 Queensville Sdrd. (tennis lines only)
Ridge View Park – 126 Dogwood Blvd. (tennis and pickleball lines)
Shannon Park – 84 King St. (tennis and pickleball lines)
Holland Landing Community Centre – 19513 Yonge St. (tennis lines only)
Ross Family Complex – 19300 Centre St. (pickleball lines only)
Sharon Hills Park - 191 Colonel Wayling Blvd. (closed due to maintenance. Find out more information on the improvements being made)

EG's courts are available to book! If you do not have a permit showing the court is booked, the courts run on a first come first serve basis. To request a permit, please submit a Playing Field Booking Request From. Anyone with a permit showing the booking has priority over the space.
