Keep doors closed at night
  • Because of synthetic materials, furniture, and construction, fire spreads faster than ever before. Closing doors helps stop the spread of fire.
  • During a fire a closed door can keep CO levels 90% lower then if you were to leave it open.
  • A closed door during a fire can reduce heat from 1000 degrees to 100 degrees. 
  • NFPA reports fire deaths are at their highest between the hours 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
